I have been shouting about it rather a lot but FLEECEHOLD WAS IN THE SUNDAY TIMES YESTERDAY!
There you go. I promise not to mention it again. Well, except to share the link where you can read the story without having to go through a paywall.
Reporter Martina Lees has given leaseholders a voice for many years with her coverage of the building safety crisis and the leasehold scandal. She tells the story of how the inspiring founders of the National Leasehold Campaign met and some of the challenges they've faced while pushing for leasehold reform after being mis-sold their houses under the Help to Buy scheme.
She also mentions various scenes from the play, including one of my favourites about what special kind of human thinks up permission fees.
After being bumped back from last week’s programme, Fleecehold may also feature on consumer affairs programme You and Yours on BBC Radio 4 this Wednesday (August 9) from 12pm to 1pm.
Tickets are still available for Fleecehold which runs from this Friday (ahhhhh) August 11 to Sunday 13 at 6.15pm at Little Angel Theatre, Islington, as part of The Camden Fringe.
Thanks again to everyone who has seen the play in Folkestone and to everyone who has bought a ticket for this weekend.
Looking forward to seeing you and don’t forget to boo and hiss at the baddies!
This is great. well done xx
